Constructed of silvered feinzink, the obverse consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, joined together at the top and bottom by ribbon, surrounding a central shield bearing a Teutonic Cross, topped by a stylized depiction of the Tannenberg Memorial, and overlaid by an NSDAP style German national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, the reverse with a vertical pinback, unmarked but demonstrating the
